She’s BACK!
Season 4, Episode 11: I took notes so you didn’t have to…. So grab your beverage of choice and let's get into it!
I know I said this last time but it needs to be said again, “OMG IT’S BEEN SO LONG!!!! HOLY CRAP! Where did the weeks ago?!?” I blinked and summer is just now coming to a close in a few weeks. What’s been going on with all of you?? I have been eating all the seafood and shellfish I can get my hands on along with summer produce and of course stone fruit. I am holding on to summer food as long as I can. I am absolutely not ready for hot food yet or pumpkin anything. I mean it’s still AUGUST so let’s live it up in August my friends!
I have been a busy bee with so many clients, so many projects I have been able to been apart of this summer. I know this goes without saying but I am so grateful for it all as I LOVE being a photographer and collaborating with so many wonderful creatives on set. It’s been an incredible summer for sure in the photography studio! And as we all know not only do I love photographing food but I LOVE cooking and eating food!!! Luckily these things can go hand in hand at times.
Books that I have been reading!
The Midnight Feast - Lucy Foley - I have read most of her books and love the twists in them. This one was good but The Guest List and The Hunting Party are both stellar from her with some good twists)
First Lie Wins - Ashley Elston (just started this one so I can’t tell if it’s worth it just yet)
People We Meet on Vacation - Emily Henry
The Last Word - Taylor Adams (this one was a thriller with some rough stuff for me in but I did like the audio book and the twists)
The Searcher - Tana French
The Burnout - Sophie Kinsella (such a light and fun read)
The Lost Van Gogh - Jonathan Santlofer (just started this one but like it, it’s giving Davinci Coda Vibes for sure)
Recipes I have been making and loving lately!
Bon Ap - Tomato and Garlic Pie, good luck! It’s so worth it but my god is it a pain in the ass with the amount of time and planning this bad larry takes!
Here’s a SLEW of recipes from NYT Cooking - Honey Mustard Chicken Fingers (SO GOOD), Orecchiette and Halloumi Salad, Eggplant Lasagna, Dumplings and Smashed Cucumber Salad with Peanut Sauce, Lemony Farro Pasta Salad
Love and Lemons - Caponata, it’s LITERALLY THE BEST
Bon Ap’s - Beet and Farro Salad
