Snack Sized Episode with yours truly
Episode 29 Season 2: I took notes so you didn’t have to…. So grab your apron and let's get into it!
Here I am with a fun snack sized episode of you and me just chatting away!
Recently I wrote and shot a handful of recipes for a wonderful brand called Toninno and they are finally out in the world. If you haven’t tried their tuna you 10000% need to and now you need to try my yummy recipes as well! https://tonnino.com/recipes/
Not to toot my own horn but beep beep toot too, The Nov/Dec holiday issue for Cook Illustrated is out! And you need to pick it up because the recipes in this issue are DELICOUS and you are going to want to make them all. The twice baked souffle and the make ahead dinner rolls are staples in our house hold/freezer. Like I mentioned before the Turkey recipes and techniques are game changers and of course the Jeweled Rice and Japchey are not just pretty to look at but completely delicious too!

A fellow photographer, Greg Dupree, has been battling stage 3 throat cancer and could really use our help. You may not know him personally but you absolutely know and have appreciated his work. He has worked for many years in the industry shooting for huge brands and publications like Real Simple, Food and Wine, Southern Living, Coastal Living and Cooking Light as well as huge brands. If you are able to donate anything to his families Gofundme I am sure they would be very appreciative and the insurance company has stopped paying for some of his very expensive treatments. https://www.gofundme.com/f/medical-costs-for-greg-dupree

I am back baby!
Episode 28 Season 2: I took notes so you didn’t have to…. So grab your apron and let's get into it!
I am back back back again! Did you miss me?!?! I missed chatting with you that’s for sure. This week I am jumping on to share a few recipes, catch up, tease you with something VERY fun coming in December and most all just say hi!!
Do you need a new knife and want some advice…well I would personally go to a specialty store to try out a few brands to see what feels good to you but my go to brand is Shun. That’s my own opinion though. Personally I live for a tomato knife, chef’s knife, utility knife and my work horse of a knife, the Santoku.
I feel like we are on the cusp of fall but not quite out of summer yet, or maybe that’s a lot of us not wanting to let go of summer yet but either way it’s reflected in the weather, what we are eating and what we are doing for sure. That cozy season is upon us…warm fluffy socks and sweaters, cozy soups, mugs of tea and lighting that new candle. Here’s a few recipes that I have been making lately and thought they were yummy and totally worth sharing…
Spaghetti All’Assassina from Cook’s Illustrated Sept/Oct 22 Issue
Cherry Pepper Halloumi from Cook’s Illustrated Sept/Oct 22 Issue
