A Trip to Cameroon

Episode 37: I took notes so you didn’t have to….today we are talking a little about Cameroon with LaFortune from Mola Foods!

LaFortune is an incredible entrepreneur who has a VERY tasty business with her homemade sauce, spice blends and snacks! And you should pick up her Cameroon Spice blend to kick up your grilled meats, fish and veggies! If you live in Southern New Hampshire pop into her store in Nashua, NH and say hi! She is just a wonderful person and someone I love spending time with.

During our interview we chat about a lot of things. One being Red Palm Oil to cook with, here’s a link to a more in depth explanation of it and here’s where you can pick some up. We also chat about what spices you will need to pick up in order to make some dishes from Cameroon, you can buy them at Mola Foods or your local spice shop. Speaking of spices, Cameroon is known of SPICY food. If you like spicy foods, then this cuisine is so for you! I mean not everything is knock your socks off spicy but the way the dishes are structured the spice really enhances it. So I recommend trying a little of the African pepper sauce below in every dish you make! So grab some habaneros and ghost peppers!
